Headed up by a new CEO, this business is undertaking a period of aggressive strategic growth as it aims to leapfrog its competitors to become number 1 in its field within the financial services sector.

This business is launching into new areas from a products perspective and will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to build relationships with internal stakeholders and the corporate development team, advising the business at the sharp end on a range of legal queries relating to new and innovative products for the business' main customers. This is a key period of development for the company as it aims to further distinguish itself from its competition.

The legal team is an extremely well respected function within the business and the flat structure means all lawyers are able to get involved in a range of challenging work.

The role offers good variation i. advising the products/marketing team on legal and regulatory implications of launching new products, general contract advice for the business and advising on other areas of law as required.

The successful candidate will ideally have a background in financial services or regulation advising on mortgage/savings/asset management products, but lawyer's with general commercial contracts or commercial litigation experience would also be appropriate.

The package includes the basic salary, a generous pension, a company performance related bonus, 28 days holiday (plus bank holidays and the ability to buy/sell holidays).
