Risk & Compliance Manager/ Lawyer- Shrewsbury– An exciting opportunity for an ambitious Risk and Compliance specialist to join a Legal 500 firm.
JOB TITLE: Risk and Compliance Manager/Lawyer
PQE: 3-5 years’ experience
LOCATION: Shrewsbury
SALARY: £40-50,000+ DOE
THE ROLE:
This leading firm’s internal risk and compliance team enables the firm to achieve its corporate objectives by effectively managing and mitigating risk. The role will involve all aspects of managing risk and compliance including; reviewing and managing the internal audit process, creating business continuity plans and crisis management and assisting with due diligence and integration of new Group acquisitions.
THE CANDIDATE:
The firm is seeking an individual with 3-5 years’ experience of risk and compliance to support the team with a variety of such matters. Although a legal background isn’t essential, experience within litigation/ professional negligence is desirable. This role would be suited to someone with a background in areas such as compliance, AML, internal audits (ISO accreditation), maintenance of risk registers, procurement (GDPR) and regulatory matters.
