Family Solicitor – Head of Department, 5+ PQE, North Yorkshire – An exciting opportunity has become available for a talented individual to join a great firm in North Yorkshire, heading up the Family team.

PQE: 5 +
LOCATION: North Yorkshire
SALARY: up to c£50,000 DOE

THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, senior Family Solicitor with upwards of 5 years PQE. The successful candidate will take up the position as Head of Department and will be responsible for driving the department forward in the future. You will undertake your own caseload of privately funded work across divorce, financial arrangements, and child arrangements in addition to supervising a team of existing fee earners. There will be secretarial support available for this role. This role is particularly well suited to a talented Family Solicitor who wants to take the next step in their career.

THE CANDIDATE:
Prospective applicants will be Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. You will have gained experience in managing others and have proven leadership skills whilst also having conduct of your own broad caseload of files. Experience working for both employed clients and business owner clients would be desirable. The successful candidate will be IT literate and confident to use the latest technology for client meetings and case processes and procedures.
