Your new company
This international business is a leading provider of technology and content solutions within the entertainment sector. Due to a busy workload, the Manchester office is looking to recruit temporary legal support to assist with a contract review and financial billing project.

Your new role
You will support a friendly and hardworking team, working closely with the business on a document review project. As a dedicated contracts review paralegal, you will be tasked with reviewing commercial contracts and agreements. You must be able to take in large documents and understand legal contracts in a business to business setting. This is a 6-9 month contract position where you will work closely with the business to provide accurate information on a specific project and report on any legal and contractual risks.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be available to start at short notice and have a strong appreciation for contract law with a good legal understanding, either from previous experience in a contracts role or from your law degree / LPC / GDL studies. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail. You will ideally have commercial contracts experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, other legal experience will also be considered and you must be proficient with MS Office, in particular Excel. Project management skills and experience in working to commercial deadlines would also be valuable.

What you'll get in return
You will join a successful global business that is recognised as a leading provider with a strong ethos and supportive working environment. The role will be structured and you will have the opportunity to use your commercial contracts experience to work in-house with an established business. You will be offered an hourly rate, equivalent to £23,000 - £30,000 annual salary depending on skills, qualification and experience. This could suit a future trainee solicitor due to start their training contract in 2022.
