We are working with a notable professional body, who are looking to bring on board an experienced Private Client Lawyer to fill an In-House Legal position for a contract of 9 months. Candidates are likely to have upwards of 5 years' PQE in handling a full range of Private Client matters, and be able to start a new role before the end of the year.

The successful candidate can expect to lead on global policy and technical work, liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as regulators, policymakers and governments. A willingness and an enthusiasm to be involved in writing, editing and proofing columns and external communications would be a bonus, but is not essential.

Candidates with a strong Private Client background who are accustomed to advising on Wills, Probate, Trusts, Tax and LPAs are desired. Anyone with additional policy or government experience would be beneficial. STEP membership would be of interest but is not a prerequisite. Naturally, an interest in transferring their skillset to an In-House setting would be beneficial.

The role requires Full Time, 5 days a week, coverage, but offers flexibility in terms of hours (if required) and location. Whilst their head office is in London, there is the option for the successful candidate to work remotely and only travel into London for imperative meetings occasionally, or entirely remotely if necessary.

This contract represents a very unique opportunity for the successful Private Client Lawyer to transition their skillset into an In-House setting with a notable professional body, and be part of a collegiate team.

Jameson Legal acts as an employment business for temporary recruitment and as an employment agency for fixed term contract and permanent recruitment.

Please note: Where a level of experience, such as 'PQE', is indicated, please note that this is a guideline only and represents the amount of time we would usually expect a candidate to accumulate the requisite level of experience. This does not preclude applications from candidates with more or less experience
