VP & Senior Legal Counsel - Aviation Services - UAE

Our client is a renowned, multinational aircraft leasing company who are one of the leaders in their field. This multi-billion dollar company has interests in the GCC, as well as extensive contracts in the region and across the world.

The VP & Senior Legal Counsel position, based in the UAE, involves a wide array of stimulating work where you will report to the General Counsel and provide expertise as a senior member of the legal function. The main focus will be to identify and resolve legal issues, including active management of contract disputes, lease defaults, lease restructurings and associated litigation and bankruptcy matters for the company's global projects.

Applicants will have a legal qualification from jurisdictions such as the US, England & Wales, Ireland, Australia or Canada. A minimum of 7 years' legal experience gained working for international law firms and/or the legal team of an international company is required.
