Pure Search are instructed on an exciting opportunity for a mid-senior level corporate associate looking to enter the media, entertainment and sports market.

The Company:

Having recently assisted with a team build out across the corporate group at the junior level, we are now exclusively instructed on a mid-senior level opportunity for an aspiring media solicitor.

Our client is one of the leading names in the media and entertainment space, with core specialisms in media and technology and significant international reach. They have one of the most enviable client bases of any firm in the market and a proven track record of progressing senior associates to partnership.

Their brand is extremely highly-regarded and would allow an associate with previous experience of technology, media or sports transactions, or an associate with a genuine desire to enter this space, the opportunity to join a true market leader. They have a diverse and high-profile client base including digital music platforms, Premier League football clubs, film production studios and international fashion, media and music brands.

The Role:

You will be exposed to a broad range of private M&A, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, private equity, corporate advisory and general commercial advice. Working almost solely with technology, media, talent, sports and music/TV clients, you will come into a role with no ceiling and a clear and transparent path for progression, with no barriers to how quickly you can progress.

You will have significant scope to run transactions on your own with minimal supervision which, in turn, will lead to partnership within a faster time frame than most firms. You will experience high levels of client contact from day 1 in a relaxed and down-to-earth environment where you will have a huge opportunity and platform to develop your own client base.

About You:

You will have 4-6 years post-qualification corporate experience at a leading UK law firm. Previous sector experience working with technology, media or sports clients would be beneficial, but is not essential.

You may be someone that has considered making the move to work with media and entertainment clients for some time and are now at the stage where you are either considering a career in-house or a shift towards something that will provide genuine longevity in your career for the long term. You should have a keen interest in business development, with significant scope to network both in London and internationally.
