Corporate/Infrastructure opportunity with PE firm
Background:
Our client is a global infrastructure and real assets investment manager with a sector-led approach to providing growth capital solutions. They are looking to hire a mid-level corporate lawyer into their team, and they will report into the general counsel. Within this role, the successful postholder will be responsible for providing in-house legal services for a fund manager focused on acquiring, financing and managing digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for providing first class in-house legal services for a fund manager focused on acquiring, financing and managing digital infrastructure
- Providing legal advice on transactions undertaken by the business
- Ensuring transaction basics are in place: confidentiality agreements, advisor engagement letters, initial assessment of a position opportunity.
- Active involvement in due diligence; scoping, analysis and risk assessment.
Requirements:
- Mid level corporate lawyer who has trained at a reputable law firm (UK/US Qualified)
- Corporate/Infrastructure experience
- Can-do, proactive approach to work
- Strong oranisational ability
- Consistently meeting tight deadlinesOversight of internal compliance including staff compliance training
