Background:
Our client is a multinational financial services company that serves over 17 million clients. They are looking to hire an additional lawyer into their litigation & employment law team. The ideal candidate must provide expertise for all disputes, contentious regulatory matters and internal investigations in the UK, EU and APAC.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction, support, and legal advice to all stakeholders in relation to all disputes, contentious regulatory matters and internal investigations in the UK, EU and APAC.
- Provide strategic oversight, specialized knowledge, and legal advice in relation to the conduct of internal investigations, in conjunction with other internal partners.
- Ensure a consistent approach to legal risk management.
- Manage and provide advice on legal, regulatory and reputational risk arising out of complaints.
What you need to be successful?
- 4 - 6 years PQE
- UK Qualified
- Direct experience conducting internal investigations in the criminal and civil setting and contentious regulatory context.
- Direct experience managing complex disputes and responding to enforcement or prosecutorial inquiries.
- Proven understanding of financial accounting requirements related to provisions.
- Enterprise mindset and ability to understand global issues and operate in a global business.
