This is an exciting new opportunity for someone to join an award-winning patent specialist law firm based in London. We are ideally looking for a marketing graduate who has completed a strong degree, or masters degree. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking their first full-time role in Marketing & BD and comprehensive training will be provided. This role may also suit someone who has completed a year in industry perhaps as part of their degree or someone who has some office-based work experience. We would love to recruit someone who is keen, confident and determined but also has fantastic communication skills. This is a newly created role is to be part of the firm's Marketing and Business Development team which supports fee-earners within the business with all their Marketing and Business Development needs. The position has become available as the team has expanded the range of services offered over time. This role would suit someone looking to get an all-round overview of marketing and business development within a professional services environment, learn a range of skills and gain experience of using a wide range of computer systems. As a fast-paced and varied role, the successful candidate will need to be able to multi-task, happy to take direction from other team members, be confident dealing with the firm's patent attorneys and solicitors (fee-earners), have attention to detail, and good drafting skills. Responsibilities Support fee-earner attendance at events/trade shows including making bookings, organising marketing materials, pre-event research and post-event debrief actions Support social media activity and where requested draft posts, gain sign-off from fee-earners and post of social media platforms Support PR activity - draft press releases, join calls with the firm's external PR agency and share content on social media Upload content to and make amendments to the firm's website Support legal directories submissions Maintain marketing materials including branded items Collate and maintain experience and pitch database Support completion of research projects Maintain staff profiles and biographies on the firm's external website Data management in Dynamics, the firm's CRM system Google Alerts - set up and review daily alerts for Key clients Elumni - support the firm's alumni programme Internal communications - draft content, post content on internal comms channels and support internal events A competitive salary and generous benefits package is also on offer for the successful candidate.
