Housing Litigation Lawyer required to join a busy local authority based in London on a locum basis. The assignment is initially 3 months and will be extended into a rolling contract. The role is working from home whilst we are in lockdown.

As a Housing and Litigation Lawyer, you will be managing a range of housing litigation matters which will include:

  • General Housing Litigation
  • Anti-social behaviour
  • Possession claims (secure and temporary accommodation)
  • Injunctions
  • Disrepair
  • Private Sector Housing
  • HMOs

This role would suit a Housing Lawyer who is flexible enough to deal with different types of housing litigation and is able to prioritise tasks and workloads.

Previous experience of working for a local authority would be desirable for this role, although not essential provided that a good knowledge of relevant housing law within the public sector is held.

The successful housing litigation lawyer will join a friendly and supportive team, and can work remotely for the duration of the assignment unless office presence is required for meetings or court cases. On offer is a competitive hourly rate.

If you believe you have the necessary skills and experience for the Housing Lawyer role, please apply now by sending an up to date CV to Rayhaneh Tehrani at. We will be reviewing CVs on a weekly basis and shortlisted candidates will be contacted before the closing date.
