Hybrid Working

A Childcare Lawyer is required to join a large alternative business structure on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large shared service arrangement which prides itself on being one of the market leaders for undertaking public sector work in the East Midlands and South East.

As a childcare lawyer your duties will include;

  • Undertaking a caseload of public care proceedings on behalf of one local authority.

  • Conducting advocacy is encouraged but you will receive training and support with this should you lack in experience in this area. Our client also has in-house barristers who can undertake the more complex advocacy and allow you time to focus on your cases.
  • You will be exposed to a real range of public care cases which will allow you to develop and grow as an experienced childcare lawyer. This firm is a progressive and organic organisation which will take time to invest in you and develop throughout the organisation.

The role will be a hybrid working arrangement and you will have the opportunity to choose to work from 1 of 3 offices of your choice once per week - Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire or Bedfordshire.

Benefits of joining these shared legal service are:

  • The ability to claim study leave whilst gaining valuable legal experience
  • 1to1 Paralegal Support
  • Financial support with ongoing CPD training within or outside the organisation of up to £2, 500 following probationary period, for example higher rights course

This is an exciting and progressive organisation which has seen candidates who are successful have the opportunity to develop their career professionally with securing training contracts and develop professionally and organically through the business.
