An Education (SEN) Lawyer is required to join a large shared legal service on a locum basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large shared service arrangement which prides itself on being one of the market leaders for undertaking public sector work.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide a range of public sector clients with professional legal advice regarding special educational needs and managing a complex and varied caseload.

Daily tasks for the Education Lawyer would include, but are not subject to;

Managing a caseload of complex cases, comprising mainly SEN admission appeals, with minimum supervision
Undertaking advocacy in case management hearings and final hearings in the first tier SEND tribunal and to instruct counsel where appropriate on more complex cases
